There were a lot of steps in making this project come together. Initial planning was done digitally, drawn with a Wacom tablet in Clip Studio Paint. Working initial stages this way allows me to make many layout and color variations quickly, in addition to overlaying the designs on a photo of the wall to help visualize what the design would look like in the space. Knowing my client would have a desk and other storage on the lower half, I didn't want the design to be too low on the wall.
Once the layout and colors were decided, I made a clean drawing and transferred it to cotton paper. Using acrylic, I tested and mapped out the colors I would be using on the wall so that all decision making would be completed before any work began on the wall.
This project was such a joy to work on and to this day I still get updates from Revive of customers who have kind things to say about it. Thanks to Brianna and Kate for trusting me to paint a huge wall in your store and become part of the Revive story!
